Katie Colosimo is a Brooklyn-based director and video editor fascinated by the comedic and tragic nature of the arbitrary rules that dictate our modern lives.

Her short films have screened at festivals including Maryland Film Festival, San Diego Asian Film Festival, and Ouray International Film Festival. She's premiered her work on platforms like NoBudge, Directors Notes, and Film Shortage.

​

She has also premiered her experimental work with festivals including Prismatic Ground and The Artists Forum Festival of the Moving Image.

She was selected for Jim Cummings' and Ben Wiessner's 2024 Short to Feature Lab.

​

She just completed her debut micro budget feature film, Genevieve's Garden, and is in development for her second.
